Francesca James is an American actress, writer, director, producer. She is currently portraying Evelyn Johnson (2013-present). She also portrayed Kitty Shea (1973-1978) and Kelly Cole (1978-1980, and made sporadic appearances in 1980s and 2000s). She also directed and were once an executive producer of All My Children and various other soap operas.

Kelly Cole Tyler

Long lost, folk singing, twin sister of Kitty Shea. She married her deceased sister's husband, Lincoln Tyler. She and Lincoln moved away in 1980, but returned in 1981 for his sister Ann's funeral, in 1983 for Christmas, in 1986 for Charles's funeral and in 2005 for Phoebe's funeral. Kelly returned once again on December 19, 2008 for the memorial service of her surrogate mother, Myrtle Fargate.

A dance teacher and former resident of Hollywood, she is the ex-wife of Hal Shea (also known as Hal Short), ex-wife of Nick Davis and deceased wife of Lincoln Tyler and twin sister of Kelly, she died of a brain tumor. She came to Pine Valley to find information on her natural mother. Deceased.
Actor Bio
She grew up in Michigan where she began her professional career in the theater at the age of sixteen. After studying theater at Carnegie-Mellon University, she moved to New York City where she worked in theater and, for several years, in daytime dramas including As the World Turns, One Life to Live and All My Children (for which she was awarded a Best Supporting Actress Emmy in 1980[1]).
James left the cast of All My Children in 1980 to pursue a career in directing. Her directing credits include All My Children and Loving. She then moved to Los Angeles as a producer, where she worked on General Hospital, Santa Barbara and Days of our Lives. While she was producing General Hospital in 1994-95, the show was twice awarded the Daytime Emmy as "Outstanding Drama Series."[2][3] In 1995, James returned to New York and All My Children, which earned its second "Outstanding Daytime Drama" with her as producer.[4]
In 1998, James left the All My Children production team, but stayed with ABC Daytime in a consulting position and as the head of their writer development program for the next year.
